Shai was walking on the path, Kushina, Inu and Hatsu behind her, Kushina being on the right with Hatsu on the left, leaving Inu and Ryouken in the middle. They had left the village only two days ago and Shai hadn't told them much since then. Kushina broke the awkward silence amidst them.
"Sensei?" Shai turned her head to her, looking at her with a raised eyebrow. "When will we get there?"
"Less than a day, I'd expect." She said turning her head to face the front again, Kushina sighed softly, loosening the grip on her backpack she had on her back.

Last time on Next Generation
There, where they stood, laid a corpse, black, green and white scaled humanoid lizard body, blood seeping from it, the eyes not even visible beneath its lids. It just laid there, curled up into a ball. Several of the men backed up.
"What is that?!" one of the female voice called, her eyes widening behind her mask.
"I do not know… But we must report this to Hokage-sama immediately!" the captain commanded firmly as he picked up the corpse and vanished. The rest followed suit.

Last time, on Next Generation.

Some hours later, Hatsu was in a cave, tears falling. His back to the wall, his arms around his legs, his head between his knees. Echoes were heard, the sound gave the place an eerie surrounding. Two holes were up in the cave roof, small round ones. And looked like the only way out.
“What are you crying for?” Came a voice from the shadows. Hatsu shot his head up. He hadn’t sensed anyone enter. He turned his head to the source of the voice. His eyes widened slightly as he saw the person who spoke.
